Log Handling & Loading

Tidal coordinates the loading of over 95% of BC’s break bulk log exports from various ports within the province.

The main log load ports are Prince Rupert in Northern BC, Port Alberni and Island Terminal on Vancouver Island, also at a dedicated log load berth at Fraser Surrey Docks on the Fraser River.

Services

• Coordinate towing and tending of log cargoes
• Scheduling berthage and loading for over 100 vessels annually
• Provide prestowage planning and all relevant documentation prior and during the loading process
• Manage all labour requirements and supervise during loading
• Liaze with government agencies such as Transport Canada, Ministry of Forests, etc

framework and environmental best practices related to British Columbia log exports.
