Tidal Coast Terminals Ltd.
In order to complement traditional break bulk log shipments from Northern British Columbia, in early 2008 Tidal Coast Terminals (TCT) assumed operational control of a former saw mill site in Butze Bay, Prince Rupert.
Tidal Coast Terminals is strategically positioned and constructed to provide for:
- Convenient road access to the Prince Rupert Container Terminal
- Direct water access
- Paved working and storage yards
- Cargo security
- On site weigh scale
Services
- Dewatering of loose or bundled logs (also ability to dewater, store and dump without cutting bundles)
- Receiving logs and lumber by truck (weigh scale also available)
- Full sort and scale services
- Bundling, dumping and booming of logs
- Loading of lumber to scow for delivery alongside breakbulk vessels for loading
- Container stuffing and handling of logs, lumber and aluminum

- Debarking
- Chipping
- Further barge related activities
- Handling of additional commodities

The inauguration of the new Prince Rupert Container Terminal in 2007 marks a major opportunity for shipment of Northern BC origin cargoes into the major Far East markets for Canada’s commodities.
